I am not very good with critiques, but so impressed was I by this piece that I felt like I should try.
Naturally, the first thing I noticed here were the vivid colors. They seem to have an almost hyper-realistic quality. My eyes continually move around the photo, trying desperately to drink it all in at once. The brilliance, balance, and perfection of the colors make it almost too (this doesn't make sense, I know) much for my eye to bear.
Even though I've been looking at it for several minutes, my brain demands I frequently re-examine the arrangement of elements. The movement of the river, the people, and the clouds are captured with great skill.
This is my first critique so I hope you will enjoy it. When I see this picture I think of a very Romanesque feeling. This picture is very homey and relaxing to look at. I think what I love about this pic the most is its sky. I feel like I am looking at this lovely scenery on the way home and it makes me feel sentimental. The water looks so clear and pure. I love the perspective of the photo shoot and the curvature of the buildings going towards the sun. There is nothing bad that I can say about this pic at all. You really have an eye for photo shoots.
Your work reminds me on my holiday in Venice few years ago. It is indeed a very beautiful place to stay. The whole city is a masterpiece of european architecture! You captured the beauty of this city in a brilliant way! Many thanks for sharing it on dA!
